According to a news release issued yesterday (July 2, 2013) by the United States Department of the Treasury, changes continue to be made to the Affordable Care Act (ACA) regarding implementation and timelines. The School District of Janesville has been communicating with legal counsel as to how this will affect our district/employees. Regulatory language will be issued in the coming weeks. They state that “Changes to policy regarding ACA are changing at a rapid pace.” The School District of Janesville will communicate these changes and possible affects once legal guidance has received and confirmed them. Any district modifications related to an adjustment of hours worked will not be considered until the new regulatory language is reviewed.
